The Government has announced a package of support for self-employed people affected
by the impact of Covid-19. Those who are self-employed may be eligible for a taxable grant worth 80% of their trading profits, up to a maximum of £2,500 per month for the next 3 months.
Further support from the Government could include claiming Universal Credit and deferral of payments for self-assessment income tax payments.
The self-employed may also qualify for help with business rates and other grants as part of the council's Business Support programme

Centre. They are providing 1:1 support via telephone and email during a time where survivors may feel additionally isolated and at risk due to coronavirus.
