London Careers Festival
The London Careers Festival is an annual summer event which seeks to connect pupils from primary to post 16 with the world of work, fuelling imaginations, developing skills, and inspiring futures.
London Careers Festival 2022 will build on the success of previous year’s event (2019-21) which connected over 20,000 pupils with more than 120 organisation
This year’s event will be a blend of virtual and in-person as follows:

In-person Festival June 27-July 1
All activities are free and include a programme of workshops from organisations including the BBC, Bloomberg, Generation Success, and Career Ear, the festival has something for everyone from primary to post-16.
Accredited Courses Now
The Sound Bank's Podcast Presenting and Production course aims to tackle each key principle that's required when creating a polished podcast ready for end-user consumption.
The modules have been designed for candidates who may have already tried to create their own podcasts, but are struggling with elevating their careers.
We'll explore the common stumbling blocks that aspiring podcasters face including presenting techniques, show producing, marketing and distribution, and how to pitch for brand and sponsorship endorsement!
Course includes industry guest speaker: Sky TV Presenter and Capital Xtra DJ Broadcaster, Remel London, Radio Presenter/ S1 BBC This is My House, LindaE. BBC Journalist and Radio Show Producer, Derrick Bennett.
Barclays Life Skills, a free employability programme, has a range of financial capability content to support you in helping your residents feel more confident about their finances, and understand the importance of having regular positive conversations about money.
These popular modules can help you support those experiencing a change in circumstances:
• Planning your personal budget supports residents in understanding how to create a budget which tracks their income and expenditure
• Managing your debt can help residents identify bills they need to pay, look at how we get into debt and how to prioritise repaying bills
• Taking control of your income can help residents understand their income and the main features on a payslip
